As I entered I was greeted by a very friendly server, and later found out it was her first day working here. Nice, private booths. Extensive menu. I had a spicy tuna cone and tempura platter, both excellent. There was a little mutual confusion about my order, but it worked out just fine. The owner even offered to comp me a lunch though that was unnecessary. I will definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

I live in the city, and head out to powell river at least 2 times a month. Almost everytime I come here, unless I arrive later then expected! Food is good, and service is great as well! Stop in if you can! I’m sure the locals do!

We arrived late in the evening, about an hour before closing. The restaurant was full with a table just finishing up. The servers quickly cleared the table and invited us to our table. We were asked what we'd like to drink and we ordered the tea, which was delivered very quickly and hot. We ordered our meals, after about 10 minutes the miso soup was delivered and about 5 minutes later our main course was served. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. The servers are very pleasant and we love our experience eating here. The atmosphere is pleasant with mostly private tables. Thank you!

This must be the best Japanese restaurant in Powell River. The food is on point and noticeably fresh. They have cute little booths so you can eat as much as you want without anybody judging. Service is great too.

Was in PR for hockey tournament, went to Minato for dinner with my kid. We ordered teriyaki beef and chicken and two rolls to share. Every tasted surprisingly for remote city good! Recommend this place!
